Aml Policies
Scope and purpose
This Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer (AML/KYC) Policy sets forth the minimum requirements under which Rkgg operates to detect, prevent, and report money laundering, financing of terrorism, and related financial crime. The policy applies to all user accounts and transactions conducted on the Rkgg platform and governs the actions of Rkgg, its officers, employees, agents, and service providers involved in customer onboarding, verification, monitoring, and compliance activities.
Regulatory framework and licensing
Rkgg operates in accordance with the applicable gaming and financial services regulations as evidenced by licensing and supervisory oversight. Rkgg maintains a current license to offer gaming services, adheres to the regulator’s AML guidance, and cooperates with competent authorities in accordance with their requests and applicable law. The policy is designed to satisfy the regulator’s expectations for customer due diligence, record keeping, and suspicious activity reporting.
Know Your Customer and identity verification
Rkgg conducts risk-based customer due diligence to establish the identity and regulatory eligibility of each user prior to or during the course of providing services. Verification rests on three elements: identity verification, proof of residential address, and verification of payment instruments used on the account. Verification is required prior to enabling significant account activity, withdrawal capabilities, or high-risk transactions.
Identity verification requirements
- ID verification: A government-issued photo ID (eg, passport, national ID, or driving license) is required. The document must be valid and legible; where a photo ID is unavailable, a birth certificate may be accepted with additional corroborating evidence. When accepted, a clear image of the front and back of any card presented may be required.
Proof of address
Proof of residential address must be an original or scanned document issued within the last three months showing the user’s full name and residential address. Acceptable proofs include a utility bill or bank statement; mobile phone bills and other documents may be considered but must meet the same data standards.
Proof of payment and payment method verification
Verification of payment instruments depends on the deposit methods used. Verification requirements may be updated periodically to reflect changes by payment service providers. The current requirements are:
- Card payments: provide copies of all registered debit/credit cards used on the account. Copies must display the cardholder’s signature along with the first six and last four digits of the card. For security, black out the CVV and the middle digits on the front of the card.
- eWallets: provide a screenshot of the e-wallet account showing the registered email address/account number and other identifying information.
- Bank statements: provide a bank statement issued within the last three months showing the bank name, account number, IBAN, and BIC. All four corners of the statement must be visible; a hardcopy or PDF format is acceptable. We also request a PDF or screenshot showing the corresponding deposit to the Rkgg platform.
- Cryptocurrencies: provide screenshots of the relevant transaction(s) and the wallet profile showing the email, user ID, and associated account information.
- Pre-paid vouchers: are not subject to verification under this policy.
Document submission process and timelines
Documents are submitted through the Documents tab within the My Account section. If a payout is requested, documentation must be provided within 48 hours of the request. Rkgg shall review submitted documentation within a rolling period not exceeding three (3) business days, after which a determination on the verification status is communicated to the user or escalated to the Compliance Officer if necessary.
Ongoing monitoring and risk-based approach
Rkgg conducts ongoing transaction monitoring to identify unusual, suspicious, or high-risk activity. The monitoring is proportionate to the risk profile of the customer and the nature of the activity, and it includes review of rapidly changing patterns, large or complex transactions, and cross-border transfers. Suspicious activity is escalated in accordance with internal procedures and applicable laws.
Suspicious activity reporting and cooperation
When suspicious activity or potential non-compliance is detected, Rkgg reports to the appropriate regulatory authorities in a timely manner and retains records sufficient to support the report. The reporting process is documented, controlled, and auditable, with the Compliance Team responsible for escalation and liaison with authorities as required by law.
Sanctions, risk assessment, and high-risk jurisdictions
Rkgg screens customers and counterparties against applicable sanction lists, politically exposed persons (PEP) lists, and adverse media risk. For customers or transactions presenting elevated risk, enhanced due diligence (EDD) is applied, including additional documentary evidence, source of funds analyses, and enhanced ongoing monitoring.
Data protection, retention, and access
Rkgg safeguards personal data in line with applicable data protection laws. Personal information gathered in the course of onboarding and service provision is retained for a minimum period of eight (8) years, unless a shorter retention period is mandated by law. Individuals may exercise rights of access, correction, and deletion in accordance with internal procedures and legal rights. Data is processed solely for the purposes stated in this policy and for the provision of services, security, communications, and regulatory compliance.
Self-exclusion and responsible gaming measures
Rkgg supports responsible gaming and provides self-exclusion options to users upon request. Self-exclusion remains in effect for the duration selected by the user and may include temporary, fixed-term, or permanent restrictions on account activity. During and after self-exclusion, Rkgg applies continued monitoring to ensure compliance and provide resources for user support as required by applicable law and regulator guidance.
Record keeping, audit, and governance
Rkgg maintains comprehensive records of onboarding, due diligence, monitoring, and investigation activities, including verification materials, risk assessments, and communications with users. Records are stored securely and retained for the periods required by law and regulator guidance. The internal AML/KYC function conducts periodic audits to verify adherence to this policy and to identify opportunities for process improvement.
Policy updates and enforcement
Rkgg reviews and updates this policy to reflect changes in regulation, market practices, and risk assessment results. Users will be notified of material changes through the platform and user communications channels. Continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. Non-compliance with this policy may result in restrictions, account suspension, or termination of access to services, in addition to potential reporting to authorities as required by law.
